In addition to the smart plot and Mastorakis’ visual and emotional direction, cameos and guest-starring roles are a hot topic here: Hitchcock’ s Tippi Hedren (“Marnie,” “The Birds”) makes a brief but humorous appearance (watch for the appropriate joke), as well as David Soul (“Starsky and Hutch”), Mark Singer (“The Beast Master”), Brian Thompson (“Cobra”), John Beck, Shannon Tweed and Jack Kehler, all who portray interesting characters with integral parts in the plot.
